The assessment
The Shifting Gears assessment is a self-reflection tool. It is offered for educational and personal-growth purposes only. It is not medical, psychological, financial, or professional advice, and it is not a substitute for care from a qualified professional. Your results are based entirely on the answers you provide.
Programs and payment
Paid programs — including The Build Sheets, The Drive, and coaching — are billed through Stripe. By purchasing, you authorize the charges described at checkout. Refunds and cancellations are governed by our Refund Policy, and Crew Chief (private coaching) is additionally governed by its written engagement agreement.
Acceptable use
You agree to use the site for lawful purposes and not to interfere with its operation, attempt to access it in unauthorized ways, or misuse any content or forms provided here.
Intellectual property
The Shifting Gears framework, the eight gears, the assessment, and all site content, text, and design are owned by Shifting Gears Coaching and Travis Flateau. You may not reproduce or redistribute them without written permission.
No warranty
The site, the assessment, and the programs are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee any particular outcome from using them.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Shifting Gears Coaching is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, the programs, or reliance on the assessment.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising under them will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Arizona.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
