Who we are
Shifting Gears Coaching (“we,” “us”) operates this website and the programs offered through it. This policy explains what we collect when you use the assessment, join a program, or contact us, and what we do with it.
What we collect
We collect the information you give us directly: your email address, and — depending on the form — your name, organization, and event details. When you take the assessment, we collect your responses and the scores they produce.
When you buy a program, payment is handled by Stripe. You enter your card details directly with Stripe, and we receive only what we need to fulfill the order — such as your name, email, and a confirmation that payment succeeded. We never see or store your full card number.
Your assessment answers are held in your browser as you take it. They are only sent to us if you choose to submit your email to receive your full breakdown.
Analytics and advertising
We use two measurement tools. Vercel Web Analytics counts page views without cookies and without identifying you. The Meta Pixel, from Meta Platforms, sets a cookie so we can see which of our Instagram and Facebook posts bring people here and what they go on to do — take the Scorecard, start a checkout, complete a purchase — and so we can show follow-up ads to people who have visited. Meta may combine this with information it already holds about you under its own privacy policy. You can opt out of Meta’s ad personalization in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings, and most browsers let you block third-party cookies.
How we use it
We use your information to deliver the results and programs you ask for, to process payments, to keep you posted about the book, The Drive, coaching, and speaking availability where you’ve asked to hear about them, and to respond to your inquiries. We tag each submission by its source so we only send you what’s relevant.
Who we share it with
We share your information only with the service providers that run this business on our behalf, and only so they can perform their job:
GoHighLevel — our email and contact-management platform, where your contact details and form submissions are stored and processed.
Stripe — our payment processor, which handles your card details and processes transactions.
These providers act as processors for us and are bound to protect your information. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law.
How to request deletion
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you at any time. Email hello@shiftinggearscoaching.com from the address on file and tell us what you’d like removed, and we’ll take care of it. Some records tied to completed payments may be retained where the law requires. Every email we send also includes an unsubscribe link.
Governing law
This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
